Hey, everyone.
Like all of us, I’ve travelled a long road to get to where I am today. I’ve lived through many challenges that there were times I didn’t think I would make it. There was a time I was afraid to speak to those who love me. There were many times that I was so sad I couldn’t stop crying. Then, there was a time I was so sick that I needed a village of people to carry me. Throughout my life, I have been constantly learning. Learning about myself, about the world, and about others. Since I was born, I have always been driven to help people. Every passion I pursued - although it may not have always appeared that way; underneath it all, there has been an endless desire to help people. High school. College. University. More College. Always helping.
It is when I stopped helping that I lost my way. Working 9 to 5 at a desk consumes your best waking hours and seduces you with comfort. So, I used my spare time to help others. I volunteered. Started a community social group. Always helping, yet not quite managing to satisfy my deeper self. Through everything, always seeking. Until eventually my searching brought me here.
My answer, the pursuit that speaks to my deeper self: starting my own business and becoming a professional cleaner.
For me, cleaning is an act of service. The hard times in my life have taught me that sometimes a person needs every ounce of energy just to survive. Akin to the popular running quote, “Run for those who can’t” (author unknown). I clean because I can - and I will gladly do it for those who can’t. As part of my business mandate, I will always offer discounted cleaning services to cancer survivors and warriors.
Of course, I clean to provide for my family. I learn about cleaning so I can provide the best possible service to my clients. I clean for my clients so they can get their time back and can feel increased pride in their homes. I share my knowledge of cleaning with you so you can have a reliable source to improve your own skills. This is a service loop that sings to my heart and I am proud to call myself your trusted cleaning lady.
So, if you need help with house cleaning, please don’t hesitate to reach out. When I say I will serve you without judgement, I mean it.
Your trusted cleaning lady,
Ada
